About

Audrey grew up in Dublin but Inishbofin has been her home for over 35
years. She works in the island’s school and local library. Her work has allowed her to
appreciate the many ways individual creativity can be expressed and how it changes at
different stages of life. She has only in recent years begun to explore her own creativity
through art.

Audrey’s artwork is a contemporary take on the traditional techniques of wet and needle
felting. Using sheep’s wool, her tactile pieces give the viewer a sense of immersion in
the natural world. Her work reflects one moment in time, offering an opportunity for us
to pause from our hectic lives to notice our surroundings and our connection with nature.

She is registered with the Design & Craft Council Ireland and a member of Feltmakers Ireland and Inishbofin Crafters.
